Wall Hung Vanity Double Storage

Enter the tone for your bathroom design with a distinct vanity. The wall hung vanity is often a focal point in the bathroom; Mark yours with colored glass, tile or old-fashioned charm. Cover an existing or unfinished vanity with an ocean glass mosaic to create a light and airy design for the bathroom.

Dresser

Reuse an antique chest of drawers as a decorative bathroom vanity by removing my drawers and cutting holes in the back for plumbing fixtures. Cut a hole in the upper center of the chest of drawers to fit a sink or install a bowl of style sink that sits on top of the chest of drawers. If you prefer a more water repellent surface for vanity than old wood, remove the top and replace it with marble or granite. Change the box fins at the office, but save the actual boxes in case you choose to convert vanity back to an agency. Hang a mirror to complete the vanity design.

Sea Glass

Remove an installed vanity and paint doors, drawer fronts and sides white or other light color. Allow the paint to dry. Place vanity so that one side is facing upwards. Glue sea glass on the painted areas with some epoxy glue. Spread the glue on the back of the ocean glass and on a small piece of vanity. Wait 60 seconds for the glue to activate before pressing the glue covered surfaces together; Hold the glass in place for one minute. Repeat the process to cover the sides and front of vanity cabinets, door faces and drawer fronts. Replace vanity cabinets, and put a light marble disc and sink.

Slabs

Decorate a vanity cupboard with ceramic, glass or river-rock tiles to coordinate with the design of your bathroom. Install 4-inch-square or smaller tiles over a painted or stained surface using waterproof adhesive. Space glass or ceramic tiles with distances to create a uniform pattern. River Rock tiles are in sheets interacting so that the finished structure seems more natural. After the glue dries, grout the spaces between the plates in a color that fits your design. Complement a traditional or beach-themed bathroom with breadboard vanity. Cut a sheet or two of breadboard panels to fit the existing vanity cabinets, doors and drawer fronts. Glue breadboard to vanity with waterproof construction glue and secure the perimeter with finishing nails. Install decorative strips around the edges of panels with the same process. Breadboard is often sold preprimated in white. After vanity cupboards are covered, paint breadboard with latex paint designed for high humidity.
